Aputure Light Storm LS 120D MKII Kit – V Mount

The Aputure Light Storm C120D II is a complete redesign of its predecessor, delivering a significant 25% increase in brightness. While drawing 140W (up from the original 120D’s 120W), the enhanced output makes this already powerful fixture even more impressive. A key refinement is the addition of fine dimming control for adjustments below 10%. Aputure has also streamlined the setup by integrating the controller and ballast into a single unit, featuring Neutrik locking ports for the included 6m, colour-coded cables, a V-lock battery mount, and integrated wireless control. In response to user feedback, the yoke’s durability has been improved with a more robust design, stronger mounting points, and a handbrake-style locking lever for increased rigidity. The redesigned yoke also supports underslung mounting, providing greater flexibility in positioning the fixture.
