The 24mm focal length is considered a classic, with its ability to fit in the vastest of sceneries, without being too wide and creating unrealistic-looking views. The bright f1.4 maximum aperture lets in heaps of light, so you can use this lens for your low-light shots, at the very close of the long day of shooting. Designed for use on FX-format cameras, this lens can also be used on the smaller DX-format, where it provides a just-as-usable equivalent focal length of 36mm.
