Rotolight AEOS 2 LED Explorer Kit

The Rotolignt AEOS 2 Explorer LED Light Kit includes a battery, a battery charger, and a soft carry bag, creating a simple and compact kit that is easy to take with you for shooting in studios, interiors, and on location. The battery slides neatly into the AEOs 2’s V-mount battery slot, allowing you to use the light without being tied to mains power, perfect for field production shoots when you need to move the light with your talent so you aren’t limited by power cable runs, or need to match daylight, or tungsten, or create theatrical colour effects.

TheRotolight AEOS 2 LED Lightcan be used as a continuous output light source for film and video, as well as a flash unit for still photo shoots. Use the AEOS 2 for continuous output or as a flash in either CCT or RGB. The light features two control knobs and an integrated touchscreen display panel that allows you to select from between CCT, RGB, effects, and digital color filter mode.

The AEOS 2 is Rotolight’s new lightweight circular 1×1′ light panel in an ultra-thin design. Despite its small size, the light produces 11,500 lux over one meter continuously and 17,500 lux over one meter in flash mode. Using the CCT mode, the panel can produce white light between 3000K and 10,000K with a TLCI of 99. In addition to RGBWW panels with a high-speed sync flash, it has a touchscreen display on the back and a new Rotolight App for controls. With the AEOS 2, photographers and filmmakers can make the world their studio.

For wireless control you can use an app to control the light from your smartphone over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. An integrated flash receiver allows the flash to be triggered by your camera for flash photography. Rounding out the usefulness of the AEOS 2 is the built-in V-mount battery plate for powering by optional V-mount batteries, or you use the included 24 VDC power supply.
