Compatible with a range of Sony lenses, the Sony FE 20TC 2x Teleconverter lens provides a 2x increase of the lenses focal length, for greater telephoto performance; this means the magnification of your lens is doubled. This extra reach results in a two-stop loss of light, so an f2.8 lens, for example, will now feature an f5.6 maximum aperture when using the teleconverter. As well as a rugged weather-sealed build, this Sony teleconverter assures image quality of the mounted lens remains exceptional, while AF, AE and OSS still functions, and full electronic communication is maintained.
